Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Linelabs:
- Email address — when you sign up for free or paid access. Used for authentication (magic link / OTP) and service communication.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or bank details. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and events (e.g. viewing the picks board, starting checkout). Collected via Vercel Analytics and internal event tracking.
- Referral codes — if you arrive via a referral link, we store the referral code to attribute the subscription correctly.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your account and maintain session state.
- To process and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, receipts, important service updates).
- To improve the product through aggregate, anonymized usage analysis.
- To attribute referrals correctly for our referral program.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
3. Data Storage and Security
User data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on infrastructure provided by Supabase Inc. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc.
We implement row-level security on our database so that user data is only accessible to the account it belongs to. Service-role access is restricted to server-side API routes.
Despite reasonable precautions, no system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Linelabs uses browser local storage to preserve your session and referral attribution across visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics uses anonymized, cookieless metrics collection.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
- Resend — transactional email delivery
6. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing help@linelabsai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that anonymized aggregate usage data may be retained.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the account portal or by contacting us. Cancellation does not automatically delete your account data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
